Top 10 Hollywood Comedy Movies

Considered as a forbidden fruit till you are 18  but these movies are worth to wait

1.American Pie:

One of the largest grossing film in this genre and is considered as a benchmark since then. From then it have got numerous sequels and spinoff.But no one come close to this epic comedy.

2. Superbad:

What happens when some awkward teenagers get themselves into some serious stuff.The situation comedy in this movie is brilliant and the work of Seth Rogen,Jonah Hill,Michael Cera is also impressive.

Fun Fact: Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg wrote the script when they were both 13 year old.

3. 40 Year Old Virgin:

This highly praised sex comedy is simple and efficient. As most of the story is given away by its title but the sweet acting of the Steve Carell and Paul Rudd will be enough to make you watch this movie two or three times.

4. Crazy Stupid Love:

Steve Carell know how to make you laugh if above movie was  not enough dose then you can watch this comedy which also include Ryan Reynolds and Emma Stone.

5. Knocked up:

I think Seth Rogen can make a comedy movie on anything even if the situation is not that comic he can bring life to it and this movie proves it. This hilarious movie is about that one silly mistake "better safe than getting knocked up" and how the lead actor life gets affected by it.

6. Eurotrip:

The Story of the film does not make that much sense and the movie do not have a big star cast but some great punches and some humorous situation will make this movie a worth watch.

7. Van Wilder:

When Ryan Reynold's was not busy playing Deadpool he was doing this.Movie centers about a rich poupalar guy who lives his life in college and who is unwilling to graduate.

8. Harold & Kumar Go To The White Castle:

Another movie that was able to make enough money to fund its various sequel and also a 3D sequel.The movie is cautionary tale for all the stoners who try to reach to somewhere when they are high. Also the cameo of Neil Patrick Harris is quite good. 

9. Zack and Miri Make a Porno:

One more movie from the great mind of Seth Rogen. It's a comedy but it's romance works as a cherry on top. Basically two friends decides to make a porno (which is easy to guess) but it's then that they can be more than friends.

10. The Girl Next Door:

Having a attractive cast like Elisha Cuthbert is not a bad gamble for any sex comedy and this movie proves it.This movie is a perfect teen fantasy as it shows a teen nerd to fall for the girl who comes to live right in front of him.


I tried to include one movie from every franchise that's the reason why I have not include other American Pie movies most of which are great and mostly everyone watches the whole franchise.
